Start drawing up your guest list of rock stars, tech moguls and fashion models because the housewarming party is gonna be epic.

This roof deck, in New York’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood, is one of the best, no question. From the six-person spa to the $10,000-plus Fire Magic Echelon barbecue and the handy-dandy beverage fridge, to the landscaping, built-in seating, Sonos surround sound, outdoor TV, and retractable awning, this space lacks nothing for throwing a major party. There’s even a built-in ice machine to keep the summertime cocktails chilled! Now add in the panoramic city views from the Empire State Building to the Freedom Tower, and you will be the most popular person in town. During the day the views are amazing, but as everyone knows, New York is at its best at night.

In case you’re wondering, yes, there is a penthouse attached to this sexy outdoor space, and it’s just as spectacular. With four bedrooms and three baths, the 3,200-square-foot co-op on West 17th Street is available via Kenneth Hurley at Industrie Residential for almost $9 million. The building is a luxury boutique co-op of just eight units, with a full-time super, and maintenance runs a not-so-trifling $3,800 a month.

Designed by multi-disciplinary architect/designer Patrick Naggar, the floor-through loft is filled with light thanks to that unicorn of Manhattan offerings: four exposures. The 20 oversized windows provide 360-degree views, and five large skylights ensure the aerie is always filled with sunlight.

At more than 36 feet long, the living/dining room is warm and personal with a wood-burning fireplace, while the Bulthaup kitchen is made for gourmets with a slew of designer appliances: Gaggenau convection and steam ovens, a DCS stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a Bosch dishwasher. Stainless steel counters and glass backsplashes are practical and stylish. And for extra storage, there’s a huge walk-in pantry.

Floors are 8” wide African teak planks, while a 50-foot wall of rift cut anigré (African hardwood) veneer runs the length of the living space. The Sonos sound system is integrated throughout the residence, so the party can continue indoors. One of the bedrooms is used as a library space, and there are copious closets throughout, including an enormous dressing room in the primary bedroom. The bathrooms are all high-end, fitted with honed marble and Lefroy Brooks hardware, as well as glass and subway tiles.

The flat is ideally situated for the modern (and moneyed) downtown dweller. The Meatpacking District, the West Chelsea art galleries, gorgeous Highline Park, Chelsea Market, the Whitney Museum and NYC’s new floating park, Little Island, are right on the doorstop, as well as shopping at Hudson Yards and local parks and gyms.

Now then, have you finished compiling that A-list guest list for the housewarming?
